We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to provide one-on-one voice instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate must possess a high level of vocal proficiency and excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective voice lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
  • Teach proper vocal techniques, breath control, pitch accuracy, diction, and musical interpretation.
  • Introduce students to vocal exercises, repertoire across various genres, and performance practices.
  • Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and examinations as needed.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages a love for singing and a commitment to growth.
  • Address and resolve any behavioral or academic concerns with professionalism and sensitivity.

Qualifications:

  • Completed, or currently pursuing, a music Degree or Diploma with a focus on Voice from a recognized University, College, or Conservatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching voice to beginner and intermediate students, including both adults and children.
  • Knowledge of vocal pedagogy, warm-up techniques, and a broad repertoire suitable for various skill levels.
  • Ability to accompany students on piano or provide backing tracks (preferred but not required).

Schedule:

  • Voice lessons would be conducted on either Monday or Friday afternoons and evenings.
  • Teachers must be available to commit to a school-year schedule, from September through June.
