Dundas Children’s Choir (ages 7-12)

Dundas Children’s Choir (DCC) welcomes children of all levels of experience, from beginner to diva! No prior music experience or training is required. Our teaching method uses a mix of learning by ear and reading music from the page, to develop both well-rounded technical skills and an intuitive feel for the music we sing.

DCC meets weekly for one hour, under the direction of Dr. Lara Housez. Together, the choir will sing music that is beautiful, fun and challenging. Along the way, our young singers develop their musicianship and choral skills. They will learn good vocal technique, develop sight-singing skills, improve their pitch, learn how to follow a conductor, and learn how to harmonize with others.

Rehearsals Begin: Monday, September 16
Rehearsals: Mondays at 5:00-6:00pm
