Piano Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to provide one-on-one piano instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. An ideal candidate must have achieved a high level of piano proficiency and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective piano lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
- Teach basic music theory, technique, sight-reading, and ear training.
- Prepare students for recital performances, auditions and examinations.
- Provide regular, constructive feedback to students and parents regarding achievements and areas for improvement.
- Foster a supportive and positive learning environment that promotes a love for music and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Address and resolve any behavioural or academic issues with tact and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Completed, or currently working towards, a music Degree or Diploma from a recognized University, College or Conservatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching piano to beginner and intermediate students, including adults and young children.
- Knowledge of standard pedagogical methods and piano repertoire.
Schedule:
- Piano lessons take place Monday to Friday afternoons/evenings and on Saturday mornings/afternoons.
- Teacher must be available to teach at least for the duration of a school year, from September until the end of June.
